We’re opening up Cajal Academy’s unique program for a half day program to give students who are interested in applying to our program and want to experience it for themselves before applying to decide if it might be a good fit for their needs!
During this drop off program, students will have the opportunity to experience much of what makes our program unique. Students will:
Experience our academic program through a mini project-based learning activity developing critical thinking skills
Get up and moving while accelerating academic learning and improving organization and sensory regulation through our unique, OT-designed Body-Informed Learning
Work with our expert team of teachers and licensed therapists from the fields of neuropsychology/psychology, occupational and physical therapies
This free trial experience is open to students who are currently in grades 1-5 and are interested in applying to Cajal Academy: an inclusive and innovative school for bright and gifted kids who have high analytical reasoning skills, including kids who have a range of special education needs. Students who will thrive in our program tend to see the world differently, enjoy puzzling through interesting problems and have strong critical and/or creative thinking. Our program integrates expertise to address learning, social, emotional, executive function, sensory processing, complex medical conditions and other special education needs, utilizing a trauma-informed approach.
