Cajal Academy’s ground-breaking program is based on the premise that education should leverage the best available science, to meet the needs of each individual child under the circumstances of the moment, and that children should be given the tools they need to have agency over those outcomes.
We serve children in grades K-12 who have verbal reasoning skills in the “very high” to “superior” ranges, including bright and gifted ‘mainstream’ kids, twice exceptional children and other complex profiles, including learning, social, emotional, sensory, neuro-diverse and other neurophsyiological differences. We also provide the first program in the world for children with connective tissue disorders, dysautonomia, mast cell activation syndrome and other complex chronic medical conditions having variable impacts on a child’s availability for learning, social and emotional experiences.
