We’ve been hearing from families across our community and even other parts of the country about the challenges that all our kids are facing in trying to make the adjustment to distance learning. For kids with complex or asynchronous profiles, or who need support for different learning styles, high intellectual gifts or special needs, these challenges are only further exacerbated.

In response to this heightened need, Cajal Academy is now considering applications for immediate placement into our remote learning program, on a case by case basis. Our online program follows the same philosophies as our in-person program, including highly-individualized yet socially-engaged programs, movement-based instruction, an intentioned focus on social-emotional learning through a trauma-informed approach and coaching in growth mindset, and integrated therapeutic and academic programming through project-based learning.
