Cajal Academy has moved to an iconic home in the heart of historic SONO and reachable by train from NYC, Danbury and more
We are thrilled to announce that we have a new home! Our new home is just 1 block from the Maritime Aquarium and a 10 minute walk from the Metro North Train Station at the intersection of the branch and main lines, making our school more accessible for families from New York City, Westchester County, New Haven, Ridgefield, Danbury and more.
Appropriately located in the hub of innovation that is South Norwalk, CT, our new home is a state of the art, 20,000 square foot space and a stand-alone building exclusively dedicated to our use, with room to grow to our full scale of 50 students. We are excited about the many ways that this new location is already elevating our students’ experiences, from our beautiful new library, to dedicated Body-Informed Learning spaces, to eating lunch at the beautiful mahogany bar that centers our new cafeteria. It’s a space appropriate to the innovative and very bright students with whom we work!
Just outside our doors, we are in the center of historic South Norwalk: a vibrant downtown and heart of innovation for the region, with parks, the Aquarium and tech start ups and small businesses whom we look forward to engaging with for our project-based learning units.

Cajal has an iconic new home!
Our new space is a former tech startup and, before that, popular local restaurant—in other words, it met our requirement of looking nothing like a school! Sign up for a tour or information session to see for yourself!
Thank you, Norwalk, for the warm welcome!
State Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff and Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling came out to help us cut the ribbon when we opened the doors on our new home on November 1. We look forward to giving back to our new community!
