Register your child for an opportunity to experience our unique program and our beautiful new facility for themselves!

Our Shadow Day events are a unique opportunity for bright, gifted and twice exceptional students to find out more about Cajal Academy, by experiencing much of what makes our program unique for themselves. They’ll learn about the neuroscience of learning and how they can use it to build on their strengths while developing areas of weaknesses and experience our inquiry-led instruction through a mini project-based learning activity requiring them to integrate standards-based academics in order to solve a real world problem together with their peers.

This free trial experience is open to students who are currently in grades 1-12 and are interested in applying for immediate or fall placements with our school. Please watch for our special kindergarten event as well!

Cajal Academy is an inclusive and innovative school for bright and gifted kids who have high analytical reasoning skills, including kids who have a range of special education needs. Students who will thrive in our program tend to see the world differently, enjoy puzzling through interesting problems and have strong critical and/or creative thinking skills. Our program integrates expertise to address learning, social, emotional, executive function, sensory processing, complex medical conditions and other special education needs, utilizing a trauma-informed approach.
